Croma, o sono

From digital imagery, photography and sculpture, Pedro Huet proposes Croma, o sono, his first solo exhibition in a public art centre. Presented across Sala-Filme and the foyers at Batalha Centro de Cinema, this exhibition starts with a short story by the artist, outlining the beginning of this story.

In this project, images and stories derive from a single object — Croma, a green vase. This rounded vase gains through its chromatic characteristics the function of a chroma-key (green screen), with the potential of all possible stories being projected onto it, just as it can camouflage itself in any of them. Particularly, in the story of a dream about the political dimensions of living in a community — a blurry dream that is long gone.
