Ana develops her work between cinematography and the visual arts. The documentaries Childhood, Boyhood, Youth (2018) by Rúben Gonçalves (theatrical release in Portuguese cinemas in 2019 and several appearances in international film festivals) and Vigil (2016) deeply influenced her sensitivity for light and framing. She has filmed with directors like Marco Martins and Leonor Noivo.

She has collaborated with classical music composers  (Jaime Reis and Nuno da Rocha); with artists  (Ani Schulze and Pedro Huet); with Theatre Companies (SillySeason and Primeiros Sintomas),  with Fashion Brands  (Marques Almeida and Gräffenberg) and music bands, Glockenwise and Caveira.

Ana has studied cinematography in ESTC (Lisbon), FAMU (Prague) and ESCAC (Barcelona) with the support of Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and Erasmus + Program.
